Leaf Creek “Frenchie” – 5-horn fused wether
Unzicker Sebastian x Cold Valley Carmelita
FOR SALE – FIBER / PET HOME ONLY
Frenchie has 5 horns that are slowly fusing into 2. Because of this horns, he will only be offered as a fiber wether / pet. His good nature makes him the most social of our lambs – he calls to his people whenever he sees them outside and loves a good scratch on his chest. He and his cousin are always the first to the fence to meet people. His wool is excellent in quality and consistency from front to back – the glossy, soft, evenly crimped fibers tend to fall into beautiful tendrils. He has the best fleece out of any of our sheep!
Leaf Creek Kate – 4-horn ewe – ‘chocolate’ lilac
Cold Valley Kenora x Cold Valley Klondike
Leaf Creek Guinevere – 2-horn ewe
Unzicker Marsha x Cold Valley Klondike
Leaf Creek ‘Jarndyce’ – 4-horn ram
Unzicker Matilda x Unzicker Jude
Jarndyce is a yearling ram with lovely horn symmetry and generous spacing between his laterals and tops. His wool is an ‘open’ texture with good quality and softness. Jarndyce is a gentleman and is gentle to ewes and lambs (he gives special attention and care to lambs and is tolerant of their shenanigans and play fighting – he gently lowers his head to play with younger rams whereas our other rams tend to give it right and play rough). We weren’t going to part with Jarndyce, but we have his half-brother as well, so we decided it was time for Jarndyce to pass on his good looks in a new herd.
